This is a little childrens book that I had when I was a little bitty girl that is all old and torn up now but has the most beautiful illustrations and poems/verses by Robert Louis Stevenson. I hope to be sharing one or a few with you when possible. Hope you enjoy as much as I have...

The Swing

How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!
Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside—
Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown—
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

I love this.

Have you found any new treasures?

I picked up some in Missouri and California on the road trip. I can't wait to show them to you. Now I just need a home to put them in. The storage unit doesn't do them justice. So Sad. I miss my Mississippi home.

When we get settled, I hope you can come visit us. That would be the most fun.

love love,
